A. I own and run my long-established, high-quality family business in the market town of Brecon in Wales, UK. I have over 40 years experience as a traditional gentlemen's outfitter specialising in top quality classic made to measure menswear, ladies underwear, and traditional household items.
A. I traded from my shop in Brecon's Market Arcade between 1986 and November 2024. This was a traditional shop furnished with antique fixtures and fittings. I am still based in Mid Wales, from where I send internet orders and travel to see made to measure customers.

A. I personally attend to all men's made to measure orders and all online orders. This is a family business run by a small and dedicated team.
A. Of course. Click on our Made to Measure page to see some of our wide range of top quality traditional men's suits, jacket, trousers, shirts and coats. Contact us by telephone or e-mail to find out more. A chat on the phone is usuay teh easiest way ahead. Personal appointments for measuring and fitting made to measure items can be booked at a time to suit you. If you cannot travel to Mid Wales, I can often travel to you.

A. Delivery charges for online shop orders are calculated by total value of your purchases and include VAT as per HMRC requirements. UK rates are listed in Payment, Delivery, and Returns. Delivery charges for elsewhere, including Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Please contact us if you have any queries about this. Parcels are usually sent by Royal Mail post.
A. Yes, as long as it is within the UK.
A. No. Just order online, or contact us (by e-mail or by phone) with your order. If you would like to register, you can do so - it means you can save time when ordering again. Any details you give are safe and secure and are never passed on.
A. Most customers pay for online orders by debit card or credit card. Other options are available at checkout. For other orders, please discuss payment options with us when you place your order.
A. Yes, we ship to many countries including most of Europe, and USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Dispatch costs are calculated according to the value of your order and are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. If you live in a country not recognised by our online ordering system, contact us to see if we can deliver to you.
Yes, we are pleased to dispatch to BFPO addresses. Providing the address is in the correct BFPO format, and you meet the tax-exemption requirements, orders to BFPO addresses are charged at our normal UK P&P rate, and are eligible to have the UK VAT charge removed. See our BFPO - How to order page for details. BFPO addresses in the Europen Union require tax-exemption form 15(10) to be completed and sent to us before your order can be dispatched VAT-free. See our sample 15(10) tax exemption form.
A. We hope you will be delighted with your purchase, but if you think there is a problem with an item you have ordered, please contact us first to discuss the problem. We comply with the Distance Selling Regulations. You may cancel the contract within seven working days from the day after delivery. Contact us to tell us you are returning an item, return it to us in its original unused condition and packaging, and we will then refund the purchase price. Return postage costs are at your expense and we advise using a recorded delivery service with adequate insurance. If you change your mind AFTER the normal returns period, we will - for the following 14 days and as a gesture of goodwill - give you a credit note to the value of the returned goods (P&P excluded). Please follow the above instructions for returning the item(s). Items ordered or made especially for you at your request (e.g. made to measure clothes, tablecloths cut to your requested size) may not be returned unless faulty or damaged on delivery. All of us want you to be happy with your purchase.
A. We collect only the basic personal contact details required to process your order. Personal information received from you is kept confidential and used solely for internal purposes at our business. We do not release your contact details to any outside party. If you give your permission, we may keep you updated by e-mail with occasional news from our shop. You can then opt out of this at any time. If personal details are needed for made to measure items we will discuss this with you first.
A. No. We will not send you anything you do not want. If you agree, we will put you on our e-mail list to receive a Christmas message. We have not sentout other messages, but there is the possibility we might in the future. You can opt out of this at any time.
