Ladies handkerchiefs in gift boxes

Pretty hankerchiefs in gift boxes make a great Christmas present. We have 100% pure white cotton hankies with embroidered flower designs in boxes of 2, boxes of 3, and boxes of 6, all available to order securely online.

There are also gift boxes of six ladies handkerchiefs in assorted colours, containing a pale blue hanky, a pale violet hanky, a pale pink hanky, and three white hankies with embroidered flowers.

Silk handkerchiefs - new colours in for Christmas

100% pure silk handkerchiefs (pocket squares) are a great gift for Christmas. We have a range of spotted silk handkerchiefs, and have just added seven plain colours: gold, pink, red, maroon, purple/cerise, royal blue, and black.

Silk handkerchiefs or pocket squares look very smart in the top pocket of a suit or sports jacket.

All these silk handkerchiefs are approximately 17 inches square (43 cm). They are hand made in England, and we are delighted to add them to our collection.

Made to measure tweed jacket in blue check with alcantara collar

This lovely blue tweed made to measure jacket has just been completed. The customer chose several made to measure style options to personalise his jacket, including the blue alcantara collar, the blue pocket trim, and the blue buttonhole detail.

Black braces for Christmas and New Year functions

Black braces with silver coloured clip ends and black braces with leather ends are popular with customers online and in the shop in Brecon at this time of year, and we've just restocked to meet demand. The clips are extra-strong, the leather fittings are high quality, and the straps wide and comfortable. All these black braces are available in 3 different sizes, are adjustable for length, and can be bought securely online from this site.

As well as black, both styles of braces - strong clip end and leather end - are available in a range of six other colours: navy, grey, red, wine/burgundy, green, and beige, all in 3 sizes. The full range of colours in the strong clip braces is shown in the photo.

Our pin-dot braces, in navy with white spots (photo below) and wine/burgundy with white spot, are also popular, both with gentlemen buying for themselves, and with friends and family looking for a smart and practical Christmas present! These have silver coloured clip ends and come in 3 sizes as well.

Black corduroy trousers added to our Meyer range

Many customers who have bought Meyer cords from us have asked us to add black to our range of colours. We're delighted to say the black cords have just arrived in our shop and are now available to order online or by telephone.

Meyer are known for their high quality tailoring. These black corduroys are stylish and durable, and very comfortable to wear because of the elastane added to the 80% cotton fabric.

We have these cotton Meyer cords available in six colours, plus Meyer wool corduroys in navy and taupe (beige). You can see them all in our Meyer corduroys section of our secure online shop.

Meyer cords for autumn and winter - comfortable, practical, and stylish

Meyer cords in navy blue, red, brown, and gold - great for autumn and winter wear, and now in stock in waist sizes 34 to 50 inch, leg length 30 and 32 inch. Meyer make superb quality menswear, and their heavyweight cotton cords are always a favourite with my customers.

The fabric is a lovely comfortable combination of 80% cotton and 18% polyamide, plus some elastane to give a little stretch. These cords are practical too, with five pockets (including a zipped coin pocket for security), belt loops, and reinforced hems - and they are machine washable at 40 degrees. They have a zip fly with a hook and bar fastening and 2 buttons at the waist.

Meyer corduroys work well with a sports jacket, with a Tattershall shirt, or with a jumper. Smart and comfortable, they're a very useful addition to any gentleman's wardrobe.

We also stock Meyer wool corduroys in navy blue and taupe (beige/brown). These contain 42% new wool, and are lined to the knee.

Brynje string vests now in stock: traditional, top quality, Norwegian design

Traditional string vests by Brynje of Norway are now in stock. Warm in winter and cool in summer, they provide the perfect combination of keeping a cushion of warm air against the body while wicking moisture away from the skin.

These string vests are sought after by farmers, other outdoor workers, walkers, cyclists, and anyone seeking comfort and practicality under a shirt or other mid-layer. The lightweight mesh has great thermal properties. They are 100% cotton and are machine washable.

Brynje is a household name in Scandinavia, a company with great heritage which is still owned by the family who founded it in 1887 and developed the vests in the 1930s.

We're delighted to offer these splendid string vests again, and are pleased with the response since they arrived a couple of weeks ago. If stock runs low we'll be having more in for the winter.

New British tweeds from Yorkshire manufacturer Abraham Moon

British tweed made in Yorkshire by Abraham Moon is a wonderful recent addition to the made-to-measure jacket fabrics we offer.

The company was established in the town of Guiseley in 1837, the year Queen Victoria began her reign. The current mill was built in 1902. From the arrival of the raw wool to the dispatch of the finished fabric, all the processes to create this high quality tweed take place here in Yorkshire.

100% British production, all on one site, is very rare and is a big attraction to us, and we're delighted to support a British company.

We'll be offering a wide range of Abraham Moon tweeds in checks, herringbones, and plains. Having visited Abraham Moon in Guiseley, I'm delighted with what they provide, and look forward to working with them to supply my made-to-measure customers with top quality British manufactured tweed.

Made to measure waistcoats

Waistcoats are in the news at the moment, with England football manager Gareth Southgate cutting a stylish figure on the World Cup touchline in his waistcoat. We can provide you with made to measure waistcoats as part of our made to measure service.

We have hundreds of fabrics to chose from, and scores of linings. Style options can include: double breasted or single breasted; welt or jetted pockets; pointed, round bottom, or straight bottom; and lapels, shawl collar, or round neckline. With a huge number of personal variations to select from, we can equip you with a truely unique garment to your individual taste.

Waistcoats can be made to measure on their own, as part of a two piece suit, or as part of a three piece suit.
