Somax flannelette pyjamas and nightshirts - perfect for chilly nights!

Flannelette pyjamas and nightshirts from Somax are great for chilly winter nights. Soft and comfortable, the 100% brushed cotton fabric helps keep you cosy and snug. 

They're easy care machine washable at 40 degrees. Currently we have Somax flannelette pyjamas in stock in all sizes from small to XXXL, and Somax flannelette nightshirts in stock in sizes small to XXL. The pyjamas and the nightshirts are available in blue stripe and wine stripe.

We also stock brushed cotton pyjamas and polycotton pyjamas by Somax.

White handkerchiefs by Pyramid: box of 3

We're delighted to have new stock of men's large white handkerchiefs by Pyramid now available. They're always popular at Christmas as a gift or stocking-filler.

The handkerchiefs are large (17 inches), made from 100% long staple Egyptian cotton, with a subtle white self-stripe border and rolled hems.

The Pyramid 3-pack comes in a clear-fronted box, nicely presented for gifting.

Last posting dates for Christmas 2022

 

We want to make sure your Christmas gifts arrive in time!

We use the Royal Mail to send our parcels, so last order times for delivery before Christmas are based on the Royal Mail's recommended last posting dates. This year the recommended posting dates for several countries are earlier than they have been in the past.

If your country is not listed, contact us by phone on 01874 623613 or by email info@aidansweeney.co.uk to check if we dispatch there.

Once your parcel leaves us, how quickly it reaches you depends on the Royal Mail!

UK ORDERS:

UK order deadline: 12 noon Friday 20th December (this is the Royal Mail's last posting date for 1st Class mail.)

Special Delivery might be possible on Saturday 21st December - call us on 01874 623613 if you need to place a last minute order and we will try to help.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

Your order will need to reach us by 2 p.m. on the days listed below for overseas delivery.

• Australia, New Zealand: Thursday 1st December

• BFPO Operational and Static HM Forces: Friday 2nd December

• Japan, Hong Kong: Wednesday 7th December

• Cyprus, Malta: Thursday 8th December

• Canada, USA, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Finland, Eastern Europe: Friday 9th December

• Ireland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland: Monday 12th December

• Belgium, France, Luxembourg: Wednesday 14th December

Orders placed after these deadlines will still be processed while the shop is open, but will not arrive until after Christmas. The shop is closed from 4pm on Saturday 24th December 2022 until 10am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

String vests and leather end braces - new stock now in

Brynje string vests are back in stock but are selling quickly. We still have planty of Large, XXL, and XXXL, but medium have nearly sold out again. These are the best string vests available, and are very popular with our customers.

We've topped up with our leather end braces too. These have strong, wide straps and good quality leather fittings for a secure fit. Leather end braces are available in three sizes and six different colours: black, navy, grey, wine (burgundy), green, and red.

New stock of popular extra strong clip braces

Men's braces with extra strong clips are our bestsellers. The strong clips give an excellent grip on the trouser waistband, so you can stretch and bend knowing your trousers are secure.

We're delighted to have new stock of these extra strong clip braces in all 3 sizes and all 7 colours (navy, black, grey, burgundy/wine, green, red, beige). Those of you who ordered in advance will receive your braces soon.

Celebrating the Jubilee with seersucker tablecloths

We were delighted that so many customers enjoyed using our colourful seersucker tablecloths during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations this weekend. They're perfect for party tables: practical, attractive, and available in rectangular, square, and round. Matching napkins are available too.

The red and white check and the blue and white checked tablecloths proved especially popular to tie in with the Union Jack colours!

New silk ties now available

Our silk ties are great to wear with blazers or sports jackets. We're delighted to add several new patterns to our collection, including black with golden yellow spots, mid pink with blue spots, and two pheasant designs - one in green and one in gold - which are perfect with a Tattersall check shirt and tweed jacket.

Made from Italian silk, these ties tie a neat knot. Dry clean only.

Red and blue spotted handkerchiefs - always popular!

Red spotted handkerchiefs and blue spotted handkerchiefs are always favourites with our customers. Traditional, 22 inch, 100% cotton - great as a hanky, bandana, or neckerchief.

Customers include Morris Dancers, Gig Rowers, and children dressing up as pirates, as well as lots of people buying them for everyday use. We even sent a bulk order of red spotted hankies to Australia recently.
